Well, it is the similar plot to the 2002 Spider-Man movie. However, there have been significant changes in the actual application. A superhero has to do things for others without thinking of himself is what the director has to conclude. The story is very standard one and other factors may overcome as better outcome from the movie. I can understand that earlier experience with similar story was better.
Screenplay
Screenplay is good just like other Hollywood movies. The movie tries to create a lot of humor in some scenes. Few shots are really entertaining.
Casting
Casing has also been good and maintains the Hollywood standards and trends.
Visuals & animations
