Photography is surely not an activity that is limited to professionals. Very rarely we may find a person who is not having any kind of affection with photos. Some like to be snapped , some like to snap others and some just like to see photos. Photography is a broad idea and had many sub ideas but in general terms it is a loved activity for amateurs too. For last few years we have got a utility that we can use to express our love for photography at any place. Understand the features of your camera phone

When you get a phone that has a camera. It is highly recommended that you try and understand the features of your phone camera. Every phone camera is not the same and digital imaging technology is always improving. A camera is not just starting and clicking but has some settings that affect the photo quality largely. Be sure that you understand the key features of your phone and can use them.

Avoid using zoom

Phone cameras generally have digital zoom that enlarge images and deteriorate. Avoid or do never use zoom unless your phone has optical zoom.

Maintain minimum distance from the object

Phone cameras are not professional cameras that have zooming lenses to capture photos from distance. In many cases phone camera lenses have fixed focus. Keeping minimum possible distance from your object will help you capture better photos.

Frame objects properly

Make sure that your object covers most of your photo. This is smple but very important trick.

Use white balance feature

Phone cameras usually have a white balance feature that lets you select the right light conditions. Using white balance feature will drastically change the photo quality.

Avoid using frames and other effects provided in your camera software. Using these effects will spoil the entire photo and make it artificial. Such frames are not smart enough to place themselves and may hide important elements is your photo.

Have optimum light

A very basic technique of photography is that you should have maximum possible light. Make sure that your photos are taken in daylight or sufficient light.

Be steady

Make sure that your hands are very steady when the photo is taken. Very little movement can spoil the quality of the photo taken. Use timer feature if possible. Using this feature will make sure that your hands are not doing anything when the photo is taken.

Wait for photo to be taken.

Phone cameras generally do not have a physical shutter that results in shutter lag. Shutter lag means the delay in clicking and the actual photo being taken. Phone cameras need more time to take photos after you click. Wait few more seconds that you do for normal cameras to make sure that you have correct abject in your photo.

Use appropriate resolution.

Phone cameras support various resolutions. To make sure that your photo has highest quality. Use the best possible resolution of your camera.
