Samsung Unveils Galaxy Grand: Is It A Strategy to Hit Big Markets?

Samsung has successfully launched Galaxy Grand last Tuesday, which is a superb mobile device hitting

all the big markets. The device almost resembles to Samsung S3 just with a little difference in resolution

i.e. 800X480 pixels. This resolution factor is really a point of discussion for Samsung, but it does not

matter because its features are more dominant than drawbacks. Dual-SIM support, superb display,

awesome camera results, and enhanced technology applications are few of its core features. Release

of any Samsung device always put a great influence on huge markets, but discussion over here will only

focus the Samsung Galaxy Grand device’s impact on the mobile markets of various countries.

Positive Impact on Chinese Industry:

Samsung is considered as the most valuable and highest brand, and is the biggest handset product of

China. Galaxy Grand is popular in China markets and all other mobile markets where mobile prices are

found very less. Keep in mind that if you are Samsung S3 user, this Galaxy Grand may not prove feasible

for you. Therefore, because of its low prices and more features, device was successful to have positive

This Samsung device is not yet suitable for USA markets because of few major issues. The very first is

concerned with its costs. Its low-cost had a great impact on US markets. In addition to this, dual SIM

option is not much common in US because of States’ rules and policies.

The second issue is concerned with its proper authentication and licensing. Reports were there that the

handset has successfully cleared necessary documentations and licensing from Chinese Industry, but

these were just rumors, the final release of this gadget in US markets is still not guaranteed.

Asian and African Mobile Markets:

It is observed that residents of Asia and Africa make best use of Chinese mobile products. Samsung

Galaxy Grand is being offered with more advanced features at very low cost. Moreover, the Dual-SIM

feature has been popular in these continents because of extensive mobile usage. Thus, the availability of

this gadget in such a way has created a positive impression on Asian and African markets.
