Simple do not’s for search engine optimization of a blog or a website#1. Never use a title that is irrelevant to your content. Make sure that your title has the most relevant keywords for your content.
#2. Do not use similar or same title for multiple pages. You can have keywords repeated in content but your titles should be different.
#3. Do not use more that 75 character in the title of your page.
#4. Do not repeat keywords in your title unless they are extremely required.
#5. Do not write similar search description for different posts. Nearly all leading blogging platforms provide features to add a search meta description for a post.
#6. Do not use common ( generic ) search description, e.g. if your blog post is about London , you must not write have a search descriptions like “ This post is about London” rather you should have some other description that explains your post properly.
#7. Do never stuff keywords in search description and make it some thing to be read and understood by human.
#8. Do never copy and paste entire article or a large part of your article in search description. Just understand that article and your description are two distinct things that have different purposes.
#9. Do not have lengthy URLs for your blog posts. Nearly all leading blogging platforms offer the flexibility to use a custom URL.
#10. Do not use URLs like page1 or html1 and such others. Have unique and descriptive URLs.

#13. Do not use irrelevant labels for a blog post.
#14. Do not use same pages on subdomains, e.g abc.com/page1.html and xyz.abc.com/page1.html

#17. Do not use images for navigation , rather use text for links.
#18. Do not use unorganized HTML sitemap, HTML sitemaps are generally for users to understand your content they must find it easy to understand the content on your pages.
#19. Do not have unorganized text in your posts. Use H1 to H6 tags to organize content.
#20. Do not at all have hidden text on your pages and descriptions.
#21. Do not at all have spelling mistakes in your content.
#22. Do not use irrelevant anchor text. Anchor text is the text used for a link.
#23. Do not use too lengthy anchor text for links.
#24. Do not keep links look like text only. Links must be different in looks that just text.
#25. Do not add unnecessary links and off topic links on the same page . If required use “nofollow” attribute to them.
#26. Do not use images with filename like image1 or photo1, rather have unique names for images.
#27. Do not use images without ALT tag.
